Who Wants S'mores?

Wow okay, let me start by saying where did 2021 go!?! It seems like just yesterday, Arlen got down on one knee and surprised me with his proposal. Since that beautiful day last April, I've been trying to make sure we stay on track during the planning process. Here is our progress so far... we've set a date and secured our venue! We've also booked our baker, officiant, and photographer! Next up is to book the DJ.

Collectively we decided to wait until our favorite season to have our engagement session & it was well worth the wait!

While you were catching Black Friday sales, we were preparing for our engagement session with Kathleen Baker at Sharp's Farm at Waterford in Howard County, MD. The farm allowed us to rent a bonfire site by their pond and we decided to make to have a s'mores themed shoot.

Side Note: This shoot inspired me to create set of tea light holders these will be used as part of our wedding decor to help tell our story! One completed they will. all be handcrafted out of copper. Here are the first two: "Where It Started" and "How It's Going." The last tea light will be slightly taller and will say, "We Said I Do Nov. 5 2022".
