Hello! Thank you for taking the time to explore my website. I am Heather Liverman, the metalsmith and sole artist behind HMS Metals. My journey in metalsmithing began eleven years ago while working towards my bachelor’s degree in archaeology at Coastal Carolina University! After graduation, I wanted to hone my skills. I worked hard to establish my brand and in 2016, I began selling my pieces at juried art festivals and local makers’ markets. Since then, I've had the pleasure of working with dozens of amazing clients to create unique pieces that fit their individual needs! When I am not in my studio, I'm either at Towson University studying towards my MFA in metal design or at the Delaplaine Arts Center teaching silversmithing workshops.

 

Fun Fact: My husband is a full-time videographer and we enjoy filming weddings together!
